After months of intense creative work with Officina dei Sogni, and the “Pagan Evocation Fantasy Chapter 3 almost ready”, I’m excited to announce that I will be taking some vacation days. From August 1st to August 15th, 2026, I’ll step away from the grid to recharge my batteries in the Real World.
As Metaverse Event Builder and director of Officina dei Sogni, the past year has been wonderfully full. We’ve staged immersive shows like The Sound of Music and The Last Librarian, designed events for the The Parallel Universe community, managed live shows with Musa InFabula, collaborated on Linden Lab’s Second Life Birthday celebrations, and expanded our presence at SLEA with GridHub and a museum project.
Building mesh in Blender, crafting animations, scripting performances, and directing machinima has kept me immersed in the virtual world I love.
But even the most passionate creators need rest. These vacation days will allow me to disconnect from scripting and event planning. I plan to enjoy quiet time, travel a little, and gather fresh inspiration for our next productions.
During my absence, the Officina dei Sogni team will continue light activities, but major events and new builds will pause. Feel free to explore our previous performances on YouTube and the blog, or visit the sim.
Thank you for your constant support and for being part of this artistic journey in Second Life. I’ll return mid-August with renewed energy, ready to design new immersive experiences.
