GridHub at SLEA is started!

We had already announced it on the Officina dei Sogni website. Our grant from SLEA (Secondlife’s Endowment for the Arts) has begun.
The opening party went very well, with our “The Creation of the Violin” kicking off three non-stop days of performances, live music, and DJ sets.

We are now fully operational with GridHub, a groundbreaking creative space now open at the Second Life Endowment for the Arts (SLEA). More than just a build or event venue, GridHub is a full-sim, always-evolving experiment in media, art, and immersive storytelling.

It’s where collaboration meets imagination—built for creators, by creators.

GridHub, built with the fundamental contribution from our partner ATG Productions, doesn’t stop at production—it expands into fully immersive spaces for art, socializing, and public engagement. These areas invite exploration and foster meaningful interaction:

Canvas Corner – Art That Speaks
Currently featuring “Monocolor” by Alex Riverstone, this intimate rotating gallery uses monochromatic photography to explore mood, emotion, and narrative through stillness. Canvas Corner will continue to host a variety of exhibitions spotlighting SL’s broad artistic talent.

Officina dei Sogni – Of course!
Created by the minds behind OfficinaDeiSogni.eu, this space is more than an art installation. It’s an experiential journey through poetic builds, natural themes, and dreamlike concepts. Visitors are encouraged to explore, reflect, and even participate in workshops centered on imagination and emotional storytelling.

SIM TALK – Ideas Worth Sharing
Inspired by TED Talks, SIM TALK is GridHub’s idea-sharing stage. It hosts live presentations and panels on topics ranging from virtual ethics and education to metaverse innovation and community leadership.

Celebrity Hub – Glamour and Recognition
This red carpet venue honors Second Life’s icons in fashion, film, blogging, performance, and beyond. It serves both as a photo backdrop and a space for award shows and special interviews—celebrating the best of SL’s creative elite.

SportsHub – Where Action and Culture Collide
An open, arena-style space where residents can witness live demos, cheer on their favorite teams, or dive into the diverse world of SL sports—from combat wrestling to yacht racing.

Community Hub & Club – Socializing at the Center
A laid-back lounge by day and a pulsing nightclub by night, the Community Hub is the beating heart of GridHub’s social energy. DJs, parties, meetups, and mixers happen here regularly, making it the perfect place to unwind and connect.
